Mandy M. Wiemar 

GIA AJP, GG and Pearl Graduate

Mandy Wiemar graduated in 2006 with her Associates Degree in Graphic Design and began working as a Custom Artist for Varsity Spirit.

She has been married since October 2008 to Charles Wiemar and they have a beautiful daughter named Raegan, born in 2015. As a family they enjoy camping and hiking trips all across the country. Sunday is known as Family Fun Day in their household.

Mandy changed careers and started working at Wiemar’s Jewelry in April 2011. Not having much knowledge of jewelry or gemstones she read as many books and articles as she could find. As a child she loved collecting rocks, but never realized there was a whole world of stones for her to discover.

Her time at the jewelry store started with waiting on customers and helping with watch batteries. Slowly she took on more and more responsibilities and became Manager. She absorbed as much information about the business but decided she wanted an education.

October 2016, Mandy received her first of many Gemological Institute of America degrees, “Accredited Jewelry Professional”.

In 2017 she began her GIA Graduate Gemology program. Life became a balancing act as a wife, mother, student and full-time manager of the jewelry store. Finally in early 2022, Mandy graduated as a GIA Graduate Gemologist and Pearl Graduate.

Using both of her passions, art and jewelry, she designs one-of-a-kind pieces.

Never did she dream, she would be playing with rocks as a life-long career and loving it!
